View point of Rataquenua
You can see the full expanse of Huaraz from the viewpoint located next to the Cross of Rataquenua.
Thermal Baths of Monterrey
Located 7 km from Huaraz, its main attraction is a spring of thermo-medicinal waters with individual and double baths and swimming pools for adults and children. It is located in a semi-urban area and is a center for other hotels and rustic lodgings, comfortable and elegant.
Jose Olaya Street
It is a short street of typical colonial architecture, the only section that has remained undamaged of the old city that was destroyed by the 1970 earthquake. Having been restored to its original characteristics and scrupulously cared for, it has become one of the most appreciated tourist attractions.
Wilkawain Archaeological Complex

Regional Museum of Huaraz
Located 7 kilometers northeast of Huaraz, this archaeological site pertains to the Wari culture (800-1200 A.D.) derived from Ayacucho. It consists of a principal temple or adoratory made of large stones set in clay mortar and chinked with small stones. It has three stories, one partially below ground level and two above the surface.
Inside are corridors and small rooms.

The interior of the temple is dark and dismal. Its ceilings are formed of immense stones supported by the walls. The temple is rectangular in plan and has a domed roof and small doorways oriented toward the four cardinal directions. Near the temple are other smaller temples. It is important because it is the only large temple complex of this period that exists in the area.
Santuary of the Lord of the Solitude
It is a center of great importance for the Christian faith because this venerated image represents the patron saint of the city. It is a beautiful image brought from Spain in the 17th century
Waullac Archaeological Site

About 2 kilometers from Huaraz (5 minutes by car or about 20 minutes on foot) is an archaeological site of possible Wari origin, with stone structures that have 5 elevated compartments.
